This week on Reading Trek, William and Marty discuss Chapters 1-17 of Star Trek: Prometheus - Fire With Fire by Bernd Perplies and Christian Humberg. This is the first Star Trek novel written by and for a German audience and was later translated into English. Topics include the numerous Trek-references and an abundance of expositions. Marty is a bartender and student, focusing on English and Creative Writing. He has a passion for space and science fiction, particularly Star Trek, and one day hopes to publish a tie-in novel of his own.
