TrekRanks Episode 31: Top 5 Hottest Characters, Part 2

Originally released on June 15, 2018

Listen to the show :

In Part 2 of our back-to-back Top Hottest Character episodes, TrekRanks continues our celebration of IDIC during Pride Month. Our LGBTQIAP+ panelists, regardless of their orientation, will conclude our two-part special by each rattling off their Top 5 Hottest Characters, this time focused on the women.

What we each find personally "hot" is pretty subjective, so this week's show jumps straight into our Prime Directive, where we learn that the show is likely to include all different kinds of Trek favorites from our host Jim Moorhouse and guests Andi from Women at Warp and Matt Hansen.

In The Order of Things all the picks are revealed along with everyone's "Five Word Summary and Hashtag" for each of their Top 5 Hottest Women Characters. After revealing a few extra picks via the show's Secondary Systems, a breakdown of the picks in the Regeneration Cycle revealed some fun statistics about which shows and types of characters were best represented.

The episode then jumps back in time via a Temporal Causality Loop to go through the amazing feedback from our Top 5 One-Off Romances.

As always, make sure to hail us here on our website by leaving a voicemail and record your own personal TrekRanks log to let us know your Top 5 Hottest Characters (for both men and women) in Star Trek. Your comments might be used via a Temporal Causality Loop in an upcoming episode.
